Health and Safety Advice Case Studies
Roofstiles – Roofing Contractor
All Clear provide health and safety advice to roofing contractors Roofstiles. Formed in late 2019, just before the pandemic, by four experienced roofing specialists. Based in Lyndhurst Hampshire, Roofstiles work with smaller independent construction outfits across the south east as well as main contractors specialising in large residential housing schemes. Both sectors have different demands for Health & Safety provisions.
All Clear were contracted to provide RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), Health & Safety policies and to help the new company achieve CHAS certification to enable them to tender for larger projects.
We set out a plan to complete the required goals and managed the process throughout. The result was we achieved CHAS within the required timescale, enabling Roofstiles to grow their business, winning additional major contracts with well-known developers.
Starting with just 4 employees, the company has grown to a workforce of 25.
“Having All Clear Safety as our consultants gives us peace of mind knowing that we can call them for advice at any time. They tell us what training is required and provide help with certification like CHAS. Being able to pick up the phone and get a quick response to any problem is a huge relief.”

LE Partitions Ltd – Drylining & Fire Stopping Contractor
All Clear have worked for LEP as their Competent Person for over a decade. We were first contacted by the MD to provide the relevant training the workforce required to work airside within major airports – this was originally called the ACTA (Airport Construction Training Alliance) ‘Passport to Work’ card).
We agreed on a short, medium and long-term plan for training, to improve their professional competencies and to enable the business to continue to win valuable airport contracts.
Our work has expanded to include Health & Safety Inspections of the workplace, Incident Inspections, as well as Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
All Clear are now an integral part of the company and we look to strengthen our union in the coming years. LEP have grown to around 30 staff and provide dry lining and fire stopping services to schools, public buildings, hotels and commercial properties across south east England.
“Colin and his team have been providing health and safety advise to us for over 15 years. They provide expert advice to all our teams and ensures that our teams have detailed – but practical – safe systems of work.
Colin ensures that all our sites are as safe and healthy as possible. Our clients are appreciative of the inspections which in turn helps us tremendously. Their professional and friendly approach is genuinely refreshing.”
